Founder and Execution
As a Marine Corps Veteran, with over 30 years in competitive athletics and wilderness guiding, I draw on my unique and diverse experiences to bring you the adventures of a lifetime. As a professional adventure racer, I have journeyed around the world competing in exotic locales—racing camels in Morocco, white water rafting in New Zealand, mountain biking through British Columbia, and canyoneering in Switzerland.
As a high-altitude mountaineer, I have led successful expeditions to Africa and South America with clients conquering Mt. Kilimanjaro (19,341’) and Aconcagua (22,837’). I have also climbed the highest peak in Mexico-- Pico de Orizaba (18,491’) and been on two treks in Nepal, visiting Everest Base Camp and summiting Mt. Kalapatar (18,100’) and Island Peak (20,305’)
Among my favorite spots in the United States are the fantastic diversity of Arizona, the endless red rocks of southern Utah, the majestic mountains of Colorado, the vast deserts of California, and the wild wilderness of Montana and the Pacific Northwest.
I’ve been a lead guide for the top companies in the outdoor industry. My practice as a guide couples years of experience with a dose of badass to create BadAss Adventures for you.
